How to: Re-rate a Timecard

Easily add timecard re-rates to new or pending union timecards using the position dropdown within the timecard.

Step 1: Under Payroll, click the “+” symbol next to Timecards.

 

Step 2: Select the employee, week ending date, and primary position, then click CREATE.

 

Step 3: Follow the typical steps you would normally perform, like entering the work location and checking the box for days worked. When you reach the day you wish to re-rate, click into the Position field, then click RE-RATE.

 

Step 4: Select the new position, then click CONFIRM.

 

Step 5: Apply the re-rate position to the desired days, then click SUBMIT. 

Note: Re-rates, or “upgrades” are automatically created with the position's appropriate scale rate. The scale rate may be edited in the timecard grossing stage.

These positions are only usable on the Timecard where they are created. However, the position is recorded on the Employee Positions page.
