How to: Create a NY Budget Cost Qualifier Template
To generate a NY Budget Cost Qualifier template, NY tax credit codes must be enabled on the project and NY costs must be coded to those codes.
Step 1: Map all accounts to ‘NY Tax Credit’ COA. Check out the How to: Map Accounts for the NY Budget Cost Qualifier Tax Credit Report article for more guidance on mapping the accounts.
Step 2: Click on ACCOUNTING REPORTS.
Step 3: Click RUN REPORT.
Step 4: Select “Tax Credit” in the “Category” drop-down menu and “NY - [Tax Credit Year]” in the “Tax Credit Name” drop-down. Check the “Use special state report” box and select “Mapped” for Chart Of Accounts.
Leave the file name blank, as it will automatically updated.
Step 5: Click QUEUE REPORT.
Step 6: Download the Excel file by clicking on the blue hyperlink in the “Excel File” column.
